How to choose a candle vessel
Pick the jar the way you pick a bowl. It will outlive the wax. The scent is on the bottom.
Hartisans is one scent page, many vessels. Glass, shadow, basin, clay — the names in the picker are the jars we stock. Color is the whole introduction. Nothing is printed on the side.
What to weigh
- The room. A matte black jar in a pale kitchen is a period. A blush basin on a stone sill is a continuation.
- The hand. Ceramic holds heat and feels like an object. Glass shows the soy.
- The after. “Planter after” means we expect you to keep it. Choose a color you can live with empty.
- The wait. If a vessel is still traveling to Durango, the page will say so. The oil can be ready when the jar is not.
Price follows the vessel more than the oil. You are buying clay or glass we would put on our own table.
Questions
- Do different vessels change the scent?
- The oil is the same. Width and wick change how it throws and how long it lasts. The fragrance name does not change.
