Why our candles have no label
Nothing is printed on the ceramic. The color is the introduction. A room will remember that — not a sticker.
Most candle brands are a label business that happens to include wax. We write the scent on the bottom, where a guest will never see it and a host always can. The vessel is meant to stay when the flame is gone.
Label-free is not a secret. You still get the CandleScience oil name on the product page, in the box note, and under the jar. We are not hiding whose fragrance we pour. We are keeping it off the clay.
What that means in a room
- The jar belongs on a table that is not a store shelf.
- Gifts do not arrive shouting a logo.
- When you plant the vessel, you are not peeling vinyl for an hour.
