What we mean by a clean burn
Clean, here, is a list we can stand behind — not a wellness word we borrowed.
Our burn is 100% soy, a lead-free cotton wick, and fragrance oils we buy as phthalate-free from CandleScience. No paraffin. No dye in the wax. No lead core. That is the list.
We are not a laboratory and we will not tell you a scented candle is medicine, or that a room with a flame has “no chemicals.” Fragrance is fragrance. If someone in the house is sensitive, start small, crack a window, or skip the jar.
A clean burn in practice also means a trimmed wick and a still room. A mushroomed cotton wick will smoke no matter how pretty the soy is.

- We pour soy, cotton, and phthalate-free CandleScience oils without dye or paraffin. We do not use that as a medical claim. A candle is still an open flame and a scent.
