Candle questions we actually get

These are the questions that arrive in the inbox and at the market table. Short answers. The long ones live in the journal.

Sarah and Joey of Hartisans

If you came from a search, you are in the right place. Soy care, CandleScience oils, a label-free jar, a Durango kitchen — the same answers we give when someone picks up a vessel and turns it over.

We are Sarah and Joey. We pour to order. We name the oil. We do not invent reviews, and we do not invent burn hours. If your question is not here, write us. Two people read it.

Questions

Are Hartisans candles soy?
Yes. 100% soy wax. No paraffin.
Whose fragrance oil do you use?
CandleScience. We name the oil on every product page.
Why is there no label on the jar?
The scent is on the bottom. The room gets the glow. The vessel is meant to be kept.
Do you pour to order?
Yes. You pick the oil and the vessel. We pour it in Durango.
Where are you?
A kitchen studio in Durango, Colorado. Sarah and Joey.
How do I keep a soy candle from tunneling?
First burn until the melt reaches the edges — usually two to three hours.
Can I reuse the vessel?
Yes. Warm out the last wax and plant something, or keep the jar.
Do you wholesale?
We read every request. Start on the wholesale page.
